    Description

    This was the first synthesized Bearcat model radio scanner from 1970’s and is now a classic with manual. Requires an antenna (not included). Turns on and brings in channels.
    The Bearcat 101 features 16 reprogrammable channels, selectable from 6000 frequencies. No crystals are required. There is the basic five band coverage includes: 30-50, 146-148, 148-174, 450-470, 470-512 MHz plus the 416-450 MHz government band. Scan rate is 20 channels per second. Desired frequencies are programmed from the front panel (using 16 lever switches), using a code table in the manual. There is a Motorola antenna jack and RCA speaker jack on the rear panel. Requires 120 VAC [30W]. 9 x 3.675 x 7.25 inches. 6.25 lbs.
