    Description

    Stainless steel brazed plate Combi-dryer CD-series (CD-200 / Medium) heat exchanger from Alfa Laval. These are specifically designed for compressed air dryer applications, primarily used with refrigerated systems. However, they can also be used with chilled water/glycol systems as long as the water/glycol temp is low enough to condense. The lower the temp the better.
    The CD-Series heat exchangers come with a 2-pass design to pre-chill the new compressed air with the exiting chilled/dehumidified air.
    These are also frequently used with ethanol distillation/recovery processes with low temp glycol systems, or integrated with refrigerated systems.
    These heat exchangers are OEM parts for SPX/Hankison HIT75.
