The D16 is a deliquescent compressed air dryer for 150 CFM.  It's designed to remove harmful moisture from compressed air lines.  The dryer has no moving parts or power requirement, which makes it ideal for tough operating environments, intermittent flows, point of use applications, mobile equipment, and areas with electrical restrictions.
How it works.
The D16 consists of an epoxy lined tank filled with Dry-O-Lite desiccant tablets.  Wet air enters the bottom of the tank and flows up through these tablets, which absorb water vapor and slowly dissolve.  Liquid collects at the bottom of the tank to be drained.  Dry compressed air exits the top of the tank.  An F200-150 or equivalent filter should be installed immediately after the dryer to remove oil mist and particulates.  Clean dry air is now ready for use.  The benefit of the D16 relative to other drying technologies is the simplicity.  No moving parts.  No power required.
Installation.
Connect air lines and add Dry-O-Lite desiccant tablets.
Maintenance
.
Drain liquid after each 8 hours of operation.  A manual ball valve is included.   Consider installing a
MDV-400 automatic drain with a 1" ball valve
.  Every 2-3 months inspect the Dry-O-Lite level by looking thru the sight glass on the side of the tank. Top off the tank with new Dry-O-Lite tablets as necessary.  A D16 dryer will consume approximately 190 lbs. of
Dry-O-Lite desiccant
per 2000 hours operation at peak flow (150 CFM).

OEM Equivalent filtration products (coalescing elements, air-oil separators, oil filters, and inlet filters) and guaranteed to fit the housing of the original equipment manufacturer.  OEM Equivalent filters may be returned pre-paid within 30 days of shipment; a 20% re-stock fee may apply.  Returned filters must be in un-used and re-salable condition.  Return authorization requests are required. Mist eliminators and manufactured-to-order filter elements may not be returned.
RETURNS
Most capital equipment may be returned in new and un-used condition within 30 days of the purchase. The buyer will be responsible for pre-paid return freight and may be charged a 20% re-stocking fee. A return authorization number is required. Manufactured-to-order equipment may not be returned.
Return requests for desiccant will be managed at our discretion.
